VA Beach 1/2 Marathon

13.1 F-ing miles!

Race started at 7am.  Everyone but Jim had to pee twice before the start.

Jim was in heat 12, and he was determined to finish under 2 hours.

Metal Face Determined!

Who's that moron with his arm raised?

It's Jim!

Finished:  1:55:11, 3153 overall,

At the 11 mile mark, Matt was first to cross.

Rog trailing by about .1 seconds.

Colleen trailing by about .2 seconds.

Yes!

Toward the end Rog made a final dash for the finish, with gel in one hand, and SoyJoy in the other.

So fast, they almost missed him at the line.

Time 2:38:12, overall 12239 (9086 runners after Jim)

Matt was also making his move.

Somehow 24 runners finished in the 10 seconds between Rog and Colleen.
